Mission & Vision

Everything we do is guided by our mission, vision and five key beliefs.

We provide holistic social services: children, parents, family, schools, health, local government and partners/donors. We run our services from two centres in the heart of Accra’s central point where street-connected children can access: The Learning Hub and Centre for Grassroots Enterprise (CGE).

Our Vision

We strive for a future for all children, regardless of their differences, to have equal opportunities to reach their fullest potential by 2030.

Our Mission

To achieve sustainable improvements in the lives of street and vulnerable children in Greater Accra and any other areas in which we operate. Our work is done closely with children, their families, their schools, and their communities through advocacy, educational support, complimentary education services, grass-roots enterprises, and local self-led, self-capitalized microfinance.

Our Values

Our values define who we are, and how we treat everyone we work with:

Trust is built with absolute truths and keeps the confidence of both beneficiaries and partners.

Strong desire and dedication to serving the needs of vulnerable children motivate and drive the the direction of SCEF.

Mutual respect for the dignity of all team members and participants regardless of their identity.

Prudent use and records of income, expenses, and audited reports are done by external auditors.

Through collaboration and the passion of team members, SCEF strives to be the frontrunner in transforming the landscape for vulnerable children.

Join Us for the "Sound of Freedom" Movie Premiere!

This event, celebrating SCEF’s 15th anniversary, will feature a powerful film screening followed by a panel discussion with child rights activists and community leaders.
