Nourishing lives: The first successful food distribution by SCEF and Food for All Africa

We are delighted to report that the partnership between the Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF) and Food for All Africa has already started making a positive impact in Accra, Ghana. On May 10th, 2023, we had our first food distribution in James Town, a suburb of Accra, and it was a great success!

With the support of Food for All Africa, SCEF distributed 300 food packs to vulnerable street children, young people, women, and elderly persons in the James Town area. The food packs contained nutritious meals, including rice, garden eggs stew, chunky garden eggs sauce and boiled eggs that will help alleviate the immediate hunger needs of those who received them.

This food distribution is just the beginning of our partnership with Food for All Africa. As we move forward, we will continue to work together to address the issue of food insecurity and empower vulnerable street children in Accra. We will also be monitoring and evaluating the impact of our collaboration, to ensure that we are making a sustainable difference in the lives of those we serve.

At SCEF, we are committed to our mission of empowering street children and vulnerable young people in Ghana. We believe that partnerships like the one we have with Food for All Africa is essential to achieving our goals. We are grateful for the support of our partners, volunteers, and donors, and we look forward to working together to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.

We invite you to join us on this journey of empowering vulnerable street children and reducing food insecurity in Accra. Together, we can make a difference!
