SCEF MARK INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR STREET CHILDREN IDSC2022

SCEF with a collation of NPOs working with children in street situations in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare, of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in Ghana celebrate and mark IDSC2022 with various activities lined up that commenced from 1sth – 12th April 2022, with the theme;

“The role of everyday Ghanaian citizen to address the issue of children in street situations”.

Children are blessings from the Lord, it’s important to show love, care, and attention, to these future leaders instead of passing them by on the streets nonchalantly. It’s in this view that we strive to make all street children have equal opportunities to excel in life.

On this special day as we celebrate street children, we wish to highlight the plights of street children and also give them all the necessary attention and love.

We at Street Children Empowerment Foundation(SCEF) are committed and on course to rescue more street children and bring out their potential in them to make a global impact.

You have a responsibility to make this change, this is the perfect time to take action and stand with all those children and youth living on the streets of Ghana and the rest of the world. Together we celebrate street children and urge all stakeholders, government officials, partners, organizations, and individuals to come on board to make a great impact in the lives of these street children.

Celebrating IDSC becomes a wake-up call to government authorities, and agencies globally to bring the change that is needed in the life of these vulnerable children who go through a whole lot of abuses.
